On this day: The 1st episode of RAW since the WWF became the WWE starts off with Hardcore Champion Steven Richards superkicking Trish Stratus during her match with Jazz, causing Jazz to retain her Women’s Title. Immediately after the match, Bubba Ray Dudley attacks Richards and wins the Hardcore Title, only to lose it moments later to Raven who was then Superkicked by Justin Credible and lost the Title. Crash Holly won his 18th Hardcore Championship by pinning Credible off a Missile Dropkick, but Crash would soon lose the Title to Trish Stratus. After accidentally being powerbombed through a table by Bubba, Trish is covered by Steven Richards and he escapes RAW, once again, as Hardcore Champion. (5/6/02)
